Welcome to TravelSoftball.com ("we," "our," "the Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site Is

TravelSoftball.com is a free directory and networking platform that helps travel softball players, parents, coaches, teams, and instructors discover each other. We provide profile listings and directory search — we are not a recruiting agency, scouting service, or background-check provider, and we do not screen, endorse, or guarantee any player, team, coach, or instructor listed on the Site.

2. Eligibility & Who May Submit

• You must be at least 18 years old to submit any profile or listing.
• Player profiles may only be submitted by the player's parent or legal guardian.
• Team and instructor listings may only be submitted by a coach, team representative, or the instructor themselves, with authority to share the information provided.
• By submitting a profile, you confirm you have the legal right and permission to publish the information and any linked media.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant TravelSoftball.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Site for the purpose of operating the directory.

You agree that all information you submit is accurate, current, and not misleading. Do not submit content that:

• Is false, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
• Infringes any third party's rights (including copyrights and publicity rights)
• Contains another person's private information without their consent
• Contains spam, advertising for unrelated services, or malicious links
• Includes full names, addresses, or direct contact details of minors beyond what the profile form explicitly requests

4. Moderation

All submissions are reviewed before publication. We may approve, edit, reject, suspend, or remove any profile or listing at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice — including content that violates these Terms or that we believe harms the community.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Site to contact minors directly; all communication regarding a player must go through the parent/guardian contact provided.
• Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect profile data or contact information.
• Do not use the directory for unsolicited marketing unrelated to travel softball.
• Do not attempt to interfere with or compromise the Site's operation or security.

6. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that any player will be recruited, that any team will find players, or that any listing will produce results. Tryout dates, roster openings, and other listing details are provided by users and may change without notice — verify details directly with the listing party.

7. Third-Party Links & Advertising

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as video highlights or social profiles) and may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third-party sites or advertisers.

8. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on the Site is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TravelSoftball.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — or for any loss of opportunities, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any listing. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TravelSoftball.com from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from content you submit or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may request removal of your profile at any time via our contact page. We may suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
